Kits, subscriptions, one offs...my experiences with some..of these boxes filled with crafty goodies

I wait impatiently for my monthly subscriptions to come in the mail..It is like a special gift just for me doing my daily routines and responsiblies.  I currently get HERO ARTS, MAYMAY, & BRUTUS MONRO each are very different subscriptions but all crafting items.

Hero Arts is a complete kit it typically has Stamps/dies, paper, ink(sometimes) and sometimes something special, the price is great for what we get..i think 34.99 shipped.

Maymay i get just the regular monthly 4x6 stamp set, for 11.99 which is a savings of a dollar if you were just purchasing it from the store. That price includes shipping cost.  Maymay has a scripture stamp subscription as well. I just choose to not order that one.

Brutus Monroe i have 4 items i subscribe to embossing powder, glitter glaze, stencil, and aqua pigment these are all monthly products.. all 4 items cost 34.00. They have other subscription products but these are the products i choose to order.

Maymay and Brutus Monroe both have reward programs and i have received several reward gift certificates for merchandise from spending on their sites. Both sites give discounts when you have a subscription.  Hero arts doesn’t have either of these things, but the kit is worth it....

I have tried other kits, tonic, Simon says stamps and couple others.
Tonic kits are one of my favorite kits but sometimes i dont use the dies they provide for making 3d products...i did subscribe to it for 9 months i think.  They give you full sized products, new preview of up coming products beautiful papers stamps and dies and a few samples as well. For a. One-off (which means, when you purchase 1 box at a time)39.99 +6.95 shipping, if you subscribe on a monthly basis shipping is 4.00. Then they have a a quarterly subscription as well 97.00+ 12.00 for all the kits. They have recently started giving a subcriber discount on other product purchases as well.

I have never subscribe to the monthly kit at simon says stamps but i have purchased individual kits when they appeal to me. I guess most of the time i have to feel like they are worth the cost.

In conclusion, is it worth signing up for a subscription well that depends on your personal situation, your likes and dislikes. One other note about this subject see how easy it is to cancel if you choose not to stay subscribed.  Hero arts i have to call and request it.  Brutus Monroe and Maymay i have control on the website.  One other company I subscribed to, not mentioned in the article i had to email them and when i stopped it couldn’t re up the subscription later.  When i heard that fact from someone i had been teetering on wether i wanted to cancel it, honestly that was my deciding factor to cancel.

Just a quick note: At this time i don’t receive any type of compensation for this information it is based on my own purchases and experiences.
